The Law of Clear Vision Experiment
Mark Joyner, in his book Simpleology, provided
the following exercise:
Method 1 - Guessing
Note: Do NOT do this in a room with any sharp objects!
Stand in the middle of a room with plenty of space and pick
out an object in the room. This is your "goal".
Now, close your eyes, spin around about four or five times,
stop in the direction of where you think the object is, and, without opening
your eyes, walk toward the object.
How close did you get to it?
Method 2 - Clear Vision
Stand in the middle of the same room and pick out the same
object.
Spin around again, but this time with your eyes open and then
stop, facing the object. Walk toward it.
How close did you get to it this time?
Seems pretty simple, doesn't it? It is! Although this exercise
was simple, remember one thing: The most important thing you did was to select
the target. Without doing that first, you would not have known where to go.
Now do you know what you want?
